This time, before your baby arrives is such a mix of emotions and just thinking about it takes me right back to those feelings. It is different for everyone and varies from each pregnancy; for my first one it was surprising and exciting and wonderful for my second it was exciting and wonderful with some added anxiety. Both times I loved my bump and missed it when it went, unbelievably I don't have many photos of this time but the ones I do have I treasure.

Then comes those first few days when you are now in charge of this tiny being that you already love so deeply. I have been fortunate enough to photograph some birth stories as well which were incredible! Maternity, birth and newborn photos hold the most emotion for me; new life is just so overwhelming and I love telling these stories. 

One thing I feel passionate about is having newborn photos at home, I think when the baby is older to see where their first home was and what it and their parents were like when they came into the world will be invaluable to have, I know I wish I had that.
