I’ve been photographing weddings since I left university over 23 years ago, and I still get that spark of excitement every time a new story begins. Living between the wild beauty of Cumbria, the Lake District, and Northumberland means I’m surrounded by landscapes that naturally lend themselves to romance and adventure. I’ve also travelled far and wide to capture celebrations, from the Highlands of Scotland to the French Alps and even the (occasionally) sunny South of England.
The joy of weddings
I will never tire of telling wedding stories. What matters most to me is the story your day naturally holds — the connections, the atmosphere, the small gestures that often say more than the big moments do. No two weddings look or feel the same, and I don’t approach them as if they should.
The result is a collection of images that feels honest, soulful, and true to the rhythm of your day — nothing forced, nothing overdone, just your story as it happened.
I also have a great love of film photography, 35mm and medium format, so if that is something you would like to have at your wedding I am always very happy to add some in. My photos on here are a mix of both analogue and digital.

She understood the types of images we loved and wanted, and more than surpassed my expectations - which were fairly high(!). I really felt like she got to understand us, and our "vibe". Every wedding is different. I offer a range of thoughtfully designed packages, and I’m always happy to create something bespoke if you’re looking for something a little more specific.
Wedding photography coverage starts from £1,750.
