A Magical Mini Session at Rydal Water in the Lake District

What a special mini session I had with Victoria and her gorgeous girls! When photographing little ones, you have to act fast and go with the flow—and that’s exactly what we did. We spent a short but enchanting time in one of my favourite Lake District locations: Rydal Water.

Victoria was wonderfully relaxed and happy for me to capture whatever unfolded naturally. As a film photographer herself, she requested the session be shot on film, which I was delighted to do. The texture and tone of film photography give family portraits a timeless, natural feel.I’m always happy to quote for a film photography session, or you can simply add a roll or two of film to your digital family session.
