I have known Ben and Charlotte for a long time and even photographed their wedding over 10 years ago! Ben is also a piano teacher to both of my daughters and I can seriously say my daughter Ava's life would not be the same with out him. After being taught by him for many years the piano has become a huge and wonderful part of her life and having such a great teacher has been a really positive influence and kept her motivated even through the teenage years! Charlotte is a very creative person and even with two young daughters she is cooking and baking and creating as much as she can - you can follow her food and art blog here. Her recipes are amazing - we are now neighbours and often get tasty treats delivered to our door!
I was thrilled when Ben and Charlotte asked me to take some family photos with their two young daughters. They chose one of their favourite places to visit as a family, the beautiful Lowther Castle in Cumbria. It was definitely one of the busiest sessions I have photographed as their oldest Jasmine does not stop moving, she is very inquisitive which is wonderful and hard work in equal measure! We had a great time and I was so happy with how the photos came out - all the love and the happy craziness of everyday family life! (All with manual focus so I was feeling pretty proud of myself)!
