Thank you for dropping by my blog page! This is Emily's family. I met Emily during a photography workshop a couple of years ago. The workshop was held by Yan Palmer whose style we both loved, it was a fantastic workshop and I'm pleased to say that I have Emily as a friend now. Emily is also a film photographer and her work is absolutely beautiful, you can see it here. I was very honoured to be asked to take her family's photographs this summer. Again my daughter Ava was there as my assistant (my previous post explains that Ava assisted me at a wedding in France), and again we were both made to feel so welcome. Emily's children are so full of life and so much fun that we didn't want to leave! We spent a bit of extra time at the beginning of the session while the boys were at school with Emily and her daughter as she was about to go off to school for the first time in September. We then spent a bit more time at home with the boys then off to the park where looking for grasshoppers was the task!
This was my favourite kind of family shoot; Lovely fun people, spending some time at home followed with a play outside, the sun was also much appreciated!
